Travel and Exploration

Exploration is at the very heart of the Kingmaker Adventure Path. Over the course of your characters adventuring career they will travel many 1000’s of miles exploring and mapping the Stolen Lands. The rules for travelling are a little different than presented in the Pathfinder Core Rulebook.
To help keep things simple movement and exploration is handled in hexes. Each hex is 12 miles across from opposite points, covering almost 150 square miles. Time taken to traverse or explore a hex is based on the dominant terrain type if it contains more than one terrain type.

The speed of the party is set by the slowest member of the group.
